J.J. Redick remains a free agent and it appears he’s narrowing down his choices for his next stop.
The Knicks and the Nets are viewed as two likely destinations for the veteran free agent shooting guard, as Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report passes along. The former Sixer lives in Brooklyn is looking to remain in the area.
Fischer notes that teams around the league still believe the 37-year-old can provide value.
The former Duke star was traded from the Pelicans to the Mavericks at the 2021 trade deadline, then entered unrestricted free agency. He averaged 7.4 points and shot 37 percent from behind the arc in 44 games last season.
