Marvin Bagley’s relationship with the Kings’ front office has been rocky for some time. Coming into the league, a combination of injuries and underwhelming play prevented Bagley reaching his full potential and in turn, he fell to the back of the rotation. Earlier in the season, his father lashed out at the franchise demanding that they trade his son.
Well, Sacramento has attempted to do just that and the club has found that there isn’t much interest around the league in the former No. 2 overall pick, Sam Amick and Jason Jones of The Athletic report.
Bagley’s defense has been atrocious, though he has improved some on the offensive end over the past couple of years. The 21-year-old is averaging 14.1 points per game while shooting 50.0% from the field and 37.0% from three-point land.
