Aaron Gordon requested a trade from the Magic earlier in the week, though now, he may be reconsidering that request. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com, Gordon is having “some second thoughts.”
I’m told, in the last 24, 48 hours, Aaron Gordon has had some second thoughts about that trade request, about whether he actually really wants to leave Orlando.
Orlando has spoken to several teams about the power forward. The Celtics and Magic have had in-depth conversations about Gordon. Yet, Orlando reportedly wanted two first-rounders in exchange for the former No. 4 overall pick, and Boston wasn’t too keen on those terms. Danny Ainge & Co. offered up a first-rounder and a young player in return; No word on who that prospect was.
The Rockets and Blazers were among the other teams linked to Gordon. The 25-year-old has one year left on his contract after this season.
