The Rockets intend to waive forward Bruno Caboclo following the trade of James Harden to the Nets, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Along with a boatload of draft picks, the Rockets ended up with Pacers guard Victor Oladipo in the deal, as well as Cavaliers guard Dante Exum.
Caboclo, 25, is 6-foot-9 and spent most of last season with the Grizzlies, before a February trade for center Jordan Bell sent him to Houston.
He averaged 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in eight games with the Rockets last season. Those averages have decreased this year under first-year coach Stephen Silas, as Caboclo is playing just six minutes a night.
He has also spent time with the Kings and Raptors, who selected Caboclo with the No. 20 overall draft pick in 2014.
