The Nuggets have officially signed veteran guard Austin Rivers for the remainder of the season, announcing the move in a press release.
Rivers, 28, is 6-foot-4 and has appeared in five games with the Nuggets, averaging 5.2 points. His second 10-day contract with the club expired Thursday night.
Rivers clearly has been a positive addition in the eyes of the Nuggets’ front office and coaching staff, per Mike Singer of The Denver Post. He has also spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.
