The Toronto Raptors are trading shooting guard Matt Thomas to the Utah Jazz for a second-round draft pick, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Thomas, 26, is 6-foot-4 and has appeared in 26 games with the Raptors this season. As Woj noted, the deal helps to open toe door on a possible trade centered on Raptors veteran Kyle Lowry.
Thomas, 26, went undrafted out of Iowa State in 2017. He has also played professionally in Spain.
