Free agent center Norvel Pelle has returned to the Canton Charge of the G League. Pelle was released by the Brooklyn Nets last week.
Canton is currently playing inside the G League bubble on the Disney campus.
Pelle was named to the Charge’s training camp roster before getting called up by the Nets in January. He appeared in three games with the Nets, averaging 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.
Pelle, 27, is 6-foot-10 and played in 20 games with the Philadelphia 76ers last season as a rookie, compiling averages of 2.1 points and 3.0 rebounds.
He was eligible for the NBA draft in 2014 but did not get drafted. He is of Antiguan/Lebanese descent and has spent the majority of his pro career either overseas or with Delaware of the G League.
