The Nets have signed Alize Johnson to a multi-year deal, the team announces via a press release. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com was the first to report the news, relaying that the contract could be worth up to $4.1 million.
Johnson played through a pair of 10-day deals with Brooklyn and earlier in the week, it sounded like the franchise had planned to keep him around long-term. Coach Steve Nash spoke highly of the forward, applauding the forward’s “incredible energy.”
Johnson, who was a second-round pick in 2018, shined in the G League bubble for the Raptors’ affiliate before latching on with the Nets.
