Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden is officially listed as questionable for Tuesday night’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.
Harden took a shot to the neck just before the first-half ended in the Nets’ win over the Washington Wizards on Sunday. Harden was able to play in the second half.
In 29 games with the Nets, Harden’s averaged 25.4 points, 11.3 assists and 8.8 rebounds per game, taking over as the primary playmaker for this offseason and bringing out the best of each and every one of his teammates. The Nets are also 22-7 in games played with “The Beard” this season.
When you take all of that into account, there’s no reason to think that he couldn’t bring home the MVP trophy at the conclusion of this season.
