Jazz point guard Mike Conley Jr. will be on the Mavericks’ radar once he hits free agency this summer, per John Hollinger of The Athletic.
Dallas is expected to be a major player in free agency, as the franchise is armed with cap space and is a seen as a desirable destination, partially because of the presence of Luka Doncic.
Conley averaged 16.2 points and 6.0 assists last season, shooting a career-high 41.2 percent from behind the arc. The 33-year-old made his first All-Star Game appearance as he helped lead the Jazz to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.

- Kevin Love’s role on the Cavaliers is expected to shrink next season, as Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com relays. There are some within the organization who wonder whether Larry Nance Jr. would be more effective next to Jarrett Allen in the frontcourt and that will likely lead to Love seeing less minutes, assuming he remains on the team.
- The Knicks are expected to pursue superstars yet again this summer and that includes Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal, and Kawhi Leonard. New York is reportedly willing to give up RJ Barrett as a centerpiece in such a deal.
- As we recently relayed, the Wizards are not seriously entertaining Bradley Beal trades.
