Ricky Rubio recently spoke openly about how he feels about the future of the league-worst Minnesota Timberwolves.
“We have to build good habits from day one, and I don’t think we are in the right way, to be honest,” Rubio said. “I can be here and be positive like we’re trying to be and it’s OK. But we have the worst record in the league. We lost way too many games by 20-plus, and I don’t feel like this is building something.”
Minnesota has one of the better building blocks in the league in Karl-Anthony Towns, and the Piscataway, N.J. native recently expressed that he wants to spend his entire career in the Twin Cities. However, the Timberwolves will need to turn things around soon in order to keep the talented big man around for the long haul.
