Dennis Schroder‘s brief tenure in Boston has been up-and-down and the Celtics are open to dealing the point guard ahead of the trade deadline.
Schroder is on a $5.9 million expiring deal and John Hollinger of The Athletic suggests that the Cavaliers could be a fit, proposing a deal that sends Kevin Pangos, Ed Davis, and a second-round pick to Boston in exchange for the former Laker.
Cleveland acquired Rajon Rondo earlier in the month and the veteran has only suited up in four games so far for the franchise (9.8 points in 20.8 minutes) per game.
Schroder would be a welcomed addition to the team’s backcourt depth but I can’t help but wonder if the Cavaliers may ultimately look for a bigger deal; one that involves sending out Kevin Love to meet their backcourt needs.

And obviously, becoming a father is probably the biggest part of it because I want my son to look at his dad and I want to set the bar high for him.”
