Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel announced that LeBron James will return to the lineup for Saturday afternoon’s game against the Indiana Pacers, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times. Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder will also both play.
James has been out the last six games due to swelling and continued discomfort in his right ankle, as he suffered a high ankle sprain in March, which costed him over a month of game action.
There were many reports earlier in the week that James was ready to suit up on either Tuesday or Wednesday night, but with the playoffs coming up, James elected to give his ankle more rest as he hopes to defend his title this summer.
