The Los Angeles Lakers have now won four games in a row. The Lakers defeated the Pacers 122-115 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Lakers now hold a 41-30 record overall with one regular-season game to go. Currently, the Lakers hold the seventh seed in the West. They could leapfrog Portland for the 6th seed. Depends on how things shake out. For now, the Lakers are simply focused on winning their next game. This is also the final NBA regular-season game for them before the Play-In/Playoffs.
LeBron James returned to the Lakers lineup after a six game hiatus. James scored 24 points on 11 of 22 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 8 assists. He did all of this in 28 minutes of playing time. Coach Frank Vogel spoke to the media about how he thinks James is looking on the court. Vogel was pleased for sure.
“It is going to take time to get his timing back to 100%, but for most of the game he looked good,” Vogel said. “He looked like his old self again.”
LeBron James was happy to be out there competing with his teammates. He knew today’s game was all business as the team prepares to make another possible Championship run. He spoke about how his ankle is feeling as well as his focus right now.
“It felt a lot better than the last time I came back,” James said. “I felt good coming into the game. I think each game I’ll get better and better. It will take a few games to get it all back. It’s up to coach and training staff if I play (Sunday).”

The Lakers play their final regular season game against the New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans. The game is 5/16 at 9 pm Eastern/ 8 pm Central.
