ORLANDO — Jalen Suggs left the Magic’s home loss to the Sixers with an apparent right ankle injury.
After the game, coach Jamahl Mosley was asked about the point guard’s ailment and he explained to FortyEightMinutes and other media in the Amway Center that there wasn’t much to pass along at this time other than Suggs has a “swollen ankle.”
Suggs, who was the No. 5 overall pick in last year’s draft, finished the contest with 10 points in 22 minutes.
Orlando’s next contest will come at home against the Nets on Tuesday. If Suggs can’t suit up for the event, expect Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony to see additional run with RJ Hampton a candidate to see more minutes as well.
