The Lakers defeated the Grizzlies on Sunday 108-94, improving to 5-2 so far this season.
Things seem to be clicking more and more each game for the Lakeshow, as the win Sunday night marks three-straight. Team chemistry is starting to come together with new additions gelling seamlessly—Dennis Schroder and Marc Gasol, particularly.
The Lakers’ potential is limitless. The Lakers are coming off of winning a championship last year with a roster with less talent and this season they have improved the roster and have a serious chance at a Championship repeat. The Lakers displayed a balanced scoring attack led by LeBron James. James stated what it took to defeat the Grizzlies during the postgame.
“We were doing a lot of jostling with Memphis,” James said, “At the start of the fourth, I wanted to try and implement myself and my scoring a little bit more. Get a bit more in attack mode and see if I could kind of open the game up and we were able to do that.”
