The Sacramento Kings are looking to trade forward Nemanja Bjelica and it seems as if it’s only a matter of time before he is dealt.
“That is for sure going to happen,” ESPN insider Zach Lowe said on The Lowe Post podcast. “That’s clearly a ‘We’re just going to probably put on ice until we trade you’ kind of thing.”
Bjelica is 6-foot-11 and actually coming off a career season, when he averaged 11.5 points and 6.4 rebounds in 72 games. But that has not been the case this season, as explained by Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee.
“Bjelica hasn’t appeared in a game since Jan. 9. His 10-game absence started as a coach’s decision, then was described as being due to personal reasons and then was attributed to back spasms,” Anderson wrote. “Sources with knowledge of the situation told The Bee there was no personal issue for Bjelica. Playing time, however, was an issue.”
Bjelica, 32, is in his sixth NBA season and third with the Kings.
