The Miami Heat found themselves in the win column after a valiant effort against the Washington Wizards. The Heat defeated the Wizards 113-105. The Heat now improve to 8-11 on the season. Kyle Lowry spoke on the Heatβs effort to get the win postgame.
βWe found a way,” Lowry said. βThey made it close … but we found a way to get the win.”
Kyle Lowry led the way for the Miami Heat. He scored 28 points on 7-for-12. Lowry scored 24 of his 28 points in the first half. He was on fire in the first half. He hit 5-for-6 from behind the three-point line. Lowry also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists.
The Washington Wizards were led by Kyle Kuzma who scored 33 points. Kuzma scored his 33 on 13-for-27 shooting from the field. He shot 2-for-13 from behind the three-point line. Kuzma grabbed seven rebounds and dished out an assist. Kuzma spoke postgame about the Wizardsβ loss and what was attributed to it.
βWe know we beat ourselves in that first half,” Kuzma said. βWe just didn’t come out and match their physicality. … Credit to everybody having resilience and fighting back. But we’ve got to do that longer than just 24 minutes.”
