The Miami Heat won their 22nd game of the season with a close win over the Orlando Magic. The Heat defeated the Magic 99-96 and improved to 22-16 on the season. They are also 11-7 overall at home. This was a pivotal win for the Heat because they are neck and neck record-wise with the Magic in the Southeast Division. With the win the Heat now move a full game ahead of the Magic and are now in sole possession of first place in the division.
Duncan Robinson led the way for the Heat with 23 points on 9-for-19 shooting. Robinson knocked down 4-for-10 from the three-point line. Robinson grabbed four rebounds, dished out three assists, and recorded a steal.
Bam Adebayo scored 21 points on 8-for-17 shooting. Adebayo knocked down 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. Adebayo also grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out seven assists, and blocked one shot.
