The Washington Wizards earned a big win over the Golden State Warriors. The Wizards won 123-115 over the Warriors to earn their 32nd victory of the season. The Wizards are now 32-42 overall. The Wizards have now won back-to-back games for the first time since January 9th.
Corey Kispert and Kristaps Porzingis led the way for the Washington Wizards. They were on point all night and their efforts allowed the Wizards to control the game.
Kispert scored 25 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field while shooting 6-for-9 from behind the three-point line.
The rookie spoke postgame about breaking the Wizards’ three-point record for the season. The record was previously held by Bradley Beal with 91 three. With Kispert’s six three-pointers, he now has 96 threes for the 2021-2022 season.
“I knew was I getting close. It feels great,” Kispert said. “I feel really good about it, but I also played a lot more games than Brad did his rookie year.”
Kristaps Porzingis scored 23 points on 6-for-21 shooting from the field. He knocked down 1-for-6 from the three-point line. Porzingis also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out six assists.
