The Grizzlies have signed guards Christian Vital ands Shaq Buchanan, and waived guard Zhaire Smith, the team announced in a pair of releases.
Despite the moves, all three players are likely headed for the Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ G-League affiliate.
Vital is 6-foot-2 and went undrafted out of UConn. He averaged 16.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 31 games as a senior last season.
Buchanan is 6-3 and spent last season with the Hustle as a rookie, averaging 11.1 points in 33 games.
Smith is also 6-3 was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers with the No. 16 overall pick in 2018. He has appeared in just 13 NBA games, mostly being limited by health issues. The Grizzlies originally signed him Tuesday.
The Grizzlies’ roster now stands at 20.
