The Sixers could be without 11 players when they are scheduled to host the Nuggets on Saturday.
Seth Curry, who tested positive for coronavirus, has been ruled out. Mike Scott (left knee contusion), Furkan Korkmaz (groin), and Terrance Ferguson (personal) are listed out as well.
The team lists seven players who are questionable for the contest. Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Danny Green, Shake Milton, Vincent Poirier, Paul Reed, and Matisse Thybulle are uncertain to suit up because of contact tracing/the league’s health and safety protocol.
According to the league rules, teams must have eight healthy bodies ready to go in order to play an NBA contest this season. The Sixers roster contains 17 players (15 NBA contracts and a pair of two-way contracts). If more than five of the seven questionable players can’t go, the league will be forced to postpone the contest. The league has only postponed one game this season (Houston vs. Oklahoma City back in December).
The Sixers have returned to Philadelphia after spending Thursday night in Brooklyn to quarantine. The game against the Nuggets is scheduled for 3:00 pm EST.
