The Cavaliers have signed forward/center Norvel Pelle and converted center Marques Bolden‘s contract to a two-way deal, the team announced.
Pelle is 6-foot-10 and made 24 appearances with the 76ers last season, averaging 2.4 points and 3.0 rebounds. The Sixers waived him last month before his contract was to become guaranteed for the season.
Meanwhile, Bolden is 6-11 and entering his second season. He spent all of last season with the Cavs and Canton Charge, averaging 9.7 points and 6.8 rebounds in 38 G-League games.
Bolden and rookie forward Lamar Stevens are the Cavs’ two two-way players.
The Cavs also made a series of cuts on Saturday and are one over the opening-day limit of 15. They are likely to cut Pelle and send him to the Charge for their final preseason move.
