The Cavaliers have an open roster spot and they’ll utilize it by signing Quinn Cook to a 10-day contract, per Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com.
Cook was most recently with the Lakers, spending most of the past two years in Los Angeles. The D.C. native didn’t see much run before the franchise waived him late last month, playing a total of 62 minutes across 16 games.
Cook’s first stop in the NBA came with the Cavaliers back in 2015. He spent training camp with Cleveland and ultimately suited up for the Canton Charge (two of his three seasons playing in the G League came with Cleveland’s affiliate). In addition to the Cavs, the 27-year-old has had stints with Mavericks, Pelicans, Warriors, and Lakers.
