Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love is expected to miss at least three to four weeks after aggravating his right calf strain in Sunday’s win over the 76ers.
Love missed the season-opener with the same injury, suffered in the Cavs’ first preseason game.
Per the Cavs, Love will undergo rehab and be “reassessed in approximately three to four weeks.” He only made it to the second quarter against the 76ers.
It hasn’t made an impact on the Cavs so far, as they are 3-0 entering Tuesday’s home game vs. the Knicks.
Larry Nance Jr. started in place of Love in the opener and nearly compiled a triple-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists.
Love appeared 56 games last season, but just 22 the year before after suffering an injured foot.
