- Oddsmakers give the Cavaliers 40-1 odds to win the NBA Championship. Heading into the weekend, that was the same odds as LeBron James‘ Lakers, though many books have temporarily taken Los Angeles off the board after the team’s monster win on Saturday.
- J.B. Bickerstaff trusts Darius Garland to put the team on his back, especially during times where other Cavs players are forced to sit out with injuries. “We count on him with the ball in his hands a ton to make the right decisions, tonight I think he did a great job of reading what was in front of him and trying to help everyone get involved but also scoring when he needed to as well,” Bickerstaff said of Garland’s play after a recent game against the Sixers.
