The Milwaukee Bucks expected to win this game coming into the game with a 3-0 series lead. There was no big hoopla about it. The Bucks simply went out and executed. The Milwaukee Bucks won over the Miami Heat 120-103. The Bucks have now won the series 4 games to 0. They now await the winner of the Boston Celtics/Brooklyn Nets series for their round 2 matchup.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 15 assists. Giannis went out and handled his business. The Bucks did as well. Giannis is happy about the series win but he knows the job isn’t done.
“Obviously, it’s a great moment for us and winning 4-0, beating the team that beat us last year, feels good,” Antetokounmpo said. “But at the end of the day, we’ve got a long way to go.”
Bucks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer expressed his pleasure in his squad’s victory in the series. He expressed the same sentiments as Giannis as the Bucks have a long way to go to reach their ultimate goal.
“We’ve got a long ways to go,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “It’s the first round of the playoffs. I think there’s got to be humility, a humbleness, an attitude or a mindset to get better. We’ve advanced in the first round. Whoever we play next, we’ve got to have the similar focus, a similar edge, willingness to play with each other, play together, all the things that we just did. Means nothing if we don’t keep doing it going forward.”
