The Bucks have emerged as the frontrunner to sign Austin Rivers, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. There were rumors that Milwaukee was interested in the guard at the deadline, though no trade materialized.
Rivers was waived by the Thunder earlier today. He was traded to Oklahoma City as part of the three-team George Hill deal at the trade deadline.
The former Duke product signed with the Knicks during the offseason but the signing simply didn’t work out.
