The Lakers have been without Anthony Davis since Valentine’s Day because of an Achilles injury, though the big man appears to be closing in on a return.
Davis has been cleared for full on-court activities, according to coach Frank Vogel (via Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com). While it’s “unlikely” that AD plays in the team’s upcoming series with the Jazz (Saturday and Monday), Vogel added that it’s “not out of the question.”
When the 28-year-old returns to the court for the Lakers, he’ll have a new frontcourt mate, as Los Angeles plans to pair The Brow with Andre Drummond.
In 23 games this season, Davis was 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per contest.
