The Los Angeles Lakers have now improved to 8-3 on the season so far, defeating the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center by a score of 120-102.
Anthony Davis led the way for the Lakers in the scoring column with 27 points. Davis was back in action after missing the last Lakers’ contest with a strained groin. LeBron James spoke on what makes Anthony Davis so important to the Lakers’ success.
“(Tonight) was just A.D. being A.D. and just having him back in the lineup gives us a whole other dynamic both offensively and defensively,” LBJ said.
Davis gives the Lakers a dynamic threat on the offensive and defensive ends of the court, something most teams in the NBA just do not have. His presence on the floor turned the game on Sunday into a fairly easy victory from what could have been a close game or a loss without him in the lineup—that’s how valuable of a player he is.
