Orlando Magic rookie Cole Anthony has been playing like an NBA veteran lately.
The 2020 No. 15 overall pick led the Magic in scoring with 26 points, which also is a career-high in points for him. He shot 6 for 15 from the field during his 36 minutes of playing time, adding in eight rebounds and six assists.
No bucket was bigger for Anthony than his game-winning three-point basket with 0.1 left on the clock. The shot was well contested by the outstretched arm of Grizzles Forward Kyle Anderson. Despite the contest from Anderson, Anthony was able to hit the tough three-pointer. Immediately after the game, Anthony discussed his mindset when it comes to taking big shots.

Crunch time, I said this a couple of games ago, I want that ball and I want to go and get it for my team,” said Anthony, who made 4 of 6 shots and hit all five of his free throws in the fourth. “If it means making the right play and getting the ball to someone else so they can get a bucket or me making a big shot, I just want to get that (win) for the team.”
