Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie suffered a partially torn ACL injury in December, which had many people thinking he would be done for the season. However, with the Nets in a prime position to make a deep playoff push, the 6-foot-5 guard isn’t ruling out a return this postseason.
“Oh, that’s a tough one,” Dinwiddie said when asked about his potential playoff status. “Recovery’s going great. The ramp-up to be able to play in a playoff atmosphere is realistic.”
Adding Dinwiddie to the mix would be a huge boost for an already deep team, as he garnered All-Star consideration just last season, as he averaged 20.6 points and 6.8 assists per game in 64 games. Dinwiddie will also provide this team with great defense, as he can switch onto opposing guards and wings and use his length to either stay in front of them or heavily contest their shots.
