The Toronto Raptors are signing rookie power forward Freddie Gillespie to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania and Blake Murphy of The Athletic.
Gillespie is 6-foot-9 and went undrafted out of Baylor, but gave a strong showing with the Memphis Hustle of the G League, averaging 10.5 points and 10.3 on the Disney campus.
The Raptors have just 13 players on standard contracts and need to add a 14th by Thursday. Gillespie will earn $61,528 on the deal.
