The Wizards return to action on Sunday vs. the Spurs but will Russell Westbrook suit up?
“The last three days, he’s looked pretty good. He’s building up and going in the right direction… just continue to monitor how he feels the next day… we are going to be patient… He said he’s feeling good today,” coach Scott Brooks told the media on Saturday.
Westbrook also addressed the media, sounding like he’s uncertain himself.
“Am I playing tomorrow? I don’t know,” Westbrook said.
Washington’s last five games have been postponed with the team not having enough players due to the league’s COVID-19 protocol. The team likely won’t have newcomers Alex Len and Jordan Bell on Sunday and the statuses of both Westbrook and fellow point guard Raul Neto (didn’t practice on Saturday due to a groin injury) are up in the air.
