Magic Johnson‘s tweets are a thing of beauty, sometimes so forward and obvious that it feels like his real account is a parody account.
On Wednesday night, the Lakers legend put out who he believes should be considered in the early MVP race. It started with Joel Embiid.

LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, and Jaylen Brown were included along with Embiid when the world believed he completed his MVP thought in his next tweet (we wrote about Jokic’s sneaky odds to win the award earlier this week).

Four minutes later, he provided the internet with his next tier. Bradley Beal, perhaps surprisingly, was included. For those paying attention, Beal was having a monster season, averaging 34.9 points per game, though the Wizards haven’t played in 12 games, seeing each of their last five contests postponed. Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, and Giannis Antetokounmpo fill out the final spots on his “next group” of candidates.

Johnson’s list is not a bad list by any means; it’s just rather lengthy. Not that anyone cares for my opinion but personally, I’d rank them as such (and limit it to five) as we cross the one-month threshold of the season:
