The Orlando Magic are on an absolute roll currently. The Magic defeated the Washington Wizards 130-125. The Magic have now won nine games in a row. They now sit in second place in the NBA’s Eastern Conference and are one game behind the Boston Celtics for first place. Magic Head Coach Jamahl Mosely spoke postgame about the win and his team’s play as of late.
“It’s big time for this group, but more importantly I think it’s big-time for the fans and the organization,” said coach Jamahl Mosley. “There’s an energy, there’s a vibe, a buzz about this group, and our guys are doing a good job of embracing it — not getting too high or too low but being able to register that this is something special.”
Franz Wagner led the way for the Magic with 31 points. He scored his 31 on 9-for-17 shooting. Wagner knocked down 1-for-3 from the three-point line. He knocked down 12-for-14 from the free-throw line. Wagner also knocked down 12-for-14 from the free-throw line.
Paolo Banchero scored 28 points on 11-for-20 shooting. He knocked down 3-for-4 from the three-point line. Banchero hit 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. Banchero also grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out seven assists.
