Kyle Lowry injured his hamstring during the middle of Heat’s first-round series with the Hawks. He missed the final two contests in that series and was on the sidelines for Game 1 vs. the Sixers on Monday night.
Lowry returning to the Heat lineup for Game 2 is a strong possibility, according to Chris Haynes (TNT broadcast).
Latest on Embiid
Joel Embiid won’t return to the Sixers’ lineup until Game 3 at the earliest, Woj notes. Embiid is recovering from an orbital fracture as well as a concussion he suffered in the Sixers’ closeout win over the Raptors. The big man has previously played through a similar injury in his face, wearing a mask in order to suit up a few seasons ago.
