The NBA has released its schedule and the Sixers open will begin the season in New Orleans, playing the Pelicans on October 20.
Philadelphia’s schedule includes 12 back-to-backs throughout the season and on eight different occasions, the club plays three games in four days.
The team is on National TV on 16 occasions this upcoming season.
Some highlights of the season will include:
- 10/22/21: Hosting Brooklyn in their home opener.
- 10/30/21: Hosting Atlanta, which is the first rematch against the Hawks since their playoff series loss.
- 11/1/21: Portland (and likely Damian Lillard) comes to town, making their only trip to the Wells Fargo Center this season
- 12/11/21: Hosting Golden State in a matchup of the Curry brothers.
- 1/15/22: Philly travels to Miami for their first and only trip to South Beach.
- 3/23/22: Sixers make their only trip to Los Angeles, taking on the Lakers on 3/23 and then the Clippers on 3/25.
