The Wizards have selected Gonzaga wing Corey Kispert with the No. 15 overall pick in the draft.
The franchise was coy about Kispert’s workout, not disclosing it until the wing mentioned it in his pre-zoom interview.
“The Wizards went great…I didn’t really get to meet a lot of the players, who weren’t around when I was working out…The front office clearly values someone like me, someone who can shoot it,” Kispert told FortyEightMinutes and other outlets during his pre-draft media availability.

Kispert, who spent four years at Gonzaga, previously played alongside Rui Hachimura while the two were at the university. The 22-year-old believes that he’d be a fit for the franchise as he would compliment Bradley Beal well.
“I can play really really well off of guys like that and then knock down open shots,” Kispert said.
