Russell Westbrook remains questionable for the Wizards-Spurs contest but the game is definitely on. Washington will play an NBA game for the first time in 13 days today in San Antonio and as we await to see whether the former MVP will join in on the Wizards party, let’s take a look at some notes from Washington:
- Alex Len, who inked a one-year contract with Washington this week, will make his debut for the Wizards on Sunday night. Coach Scott Brooks said Len will “for sure” get opportunities right away. Jordan Bell, who inked a 10-day deal with the club this week, will also suit up today.
- The Wizards are back in action, though several players remain sidelined because of COVID-19 protocols. Moritz Wagner, Deni Avdija, Davis Bertans, Troy Brown Jr., Rui Hachimura, and Ish Smith are all out against the Spurs. Brooks says the franchise will stagger the return of each player, bringing them back one or two at a time.
