The Wizards have made Troy Brown Jr. available in trade talks, sources confirm to FortyEightMinutes. The news are originally reported by NBA journalist Quinton Mayo, who tweeted that the team has made the wing “extremely available.”
The former No. 15 overall pick saw 13 minutes of action on Wednesday night after essentially being out of the rotation. On the season, Brown has suited up in just 18 games.
Washington’s focus on making the postseason remains intact and it’s possible that the franchise deals TBJ for immediate help. Brown, who was drafted in 2018, has one year remaining on his contract past this season.
