The Jordan Poole trade is official, per a team press release.
Washington acquired Poole, Ryan Rollins, and Patrick Baldwin Jr. along with a 2030 first-round pick, a 2027 second-round pick, and cash considerations from the Warriors in exchange for guard Chris Paul (CP3 was acquired by the Wizards in the Bradley Beal trade earlier in the offseason).
“Jordan is an exciting young player with championship experience and a dynamic skillset,” said Wizards General Manager Will Dawkins. “He improves every year because of his strong work ethic, a trait that will carry over with us and help him establish a leadership role on the team.”
Baldwin Jr. was the No. 28 overall pick in the 2022 draft while Rollins was selected with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2022 draft. Both prospects will participate for the Wizards during this year’s summer league.
“Patrick and Ryan are two talented young players who we know well from their draft process,” said Dawkins. “We look forward to the energy they’ll bring as they continue to develop within our system.”
