Wednesday night brings Game 2 of the Sixers-Heat playoff series and Philadelphia will look to steal a game in Florida without the help of Joel Embiid.
54% of the bets are on Miami’s spread in the contest as of this writing (according to the Action Network’s data). 68% of the money wagered is flowing on the Heat.

Wednesday Night Betting Props
Tyrese Maxey Under 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (-125)
Odds via Pointsbet
Expect some positive regression for the Sixers as the team after they went 6-fo-34 (17.6%) from three-point range on Monday night. While Maxey (1-for-6 from deep in Game 1) should be a part of that, it looks like the oddsmakers have already adjusted for the possibility of getting back to the mean.
Maxey averaged 1.8 made triples on 39.6% shooting during the 2021-22 season and made at least three shots from deep on 18 occasions (or 24% of his regular-season games). He made eight deep balls (14 attempts) in the opening two games of the Sixers’ first-round series vs. the Raptors, and just seven (23 attempts) over the final four games.
Miami presents a tougher matchup than Toronto and while Maxey is likely to have one big game during this series, I’ll play the numbers game and bet that it’s not Wednesday night.
Tobias Harris Over 20+ Points (-121)
Odds via Pointsbet
The Heat made an effort to slow down the Sixers’ backcourt in Game 1, which allowed Tobias Harris (27 points) to step on offense…and it was a successful formula for Miami. Expect Harris, who had a game-high 18 field goal attempts on Monday, to see a green light yet again as these two teams battle in Game 2.
Gabe Vincent Over 9.5 Points (-115)
Odds via Pointsbet
Miami will again be without Kyle Lowry and while Tyler Herro elevated his play as a play-maker in Game 1, it’s actually Gabe Vincent who takes over Lowry’s role when the former Raptor is out of the lineup. Vincent has seen consistent usage during Lowry’s absence, averaging nearly 10 field goal attempts per contest over the past three games, including 12 attempts in Game 1.
Vincent is listed as questionable for the contest with knee irritation but if the point guard suits up, betting on him getting to double-digits is something to consider.
