Free agent forward Danilo Gallinari is finalizing a three-year contract with the Atlanta Hawks, his agent told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The deal is reportedly worth $61 million.
Gallinari, 32, is coming off a strong season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 18.7 points and 5.2 rebounds for one of the NBA’s most surprising teams.
He will now join a young Hawks nucleus that includes the likes of point guard Trae Young, power forward John Collins and swingman De’Andre Hunter, among others.
The Hawks have also been linked to free agent point guard Rajon Rondo, most recently of the Los Angeles Lakers.
