The Milwaukee Bucks earned a 125-91 blowout victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The 2021 NBA Eastern Conference Finals is now tied up at 1-1. The Bucks came out with a fire lit under them after losing game 1 to Atlanta at home. They were especially upset because of Trae Young and him having his way during game 1. They made the proper adjustments and have now tied this series up heading to Atlanta for game 3.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Milwaukee Bucks. He scored 25 points on 11 of 18 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 6 assists on the night. He had a shorter night than usual. Logging 29 minutes of playing time. He made the most of his time on the floor and was the key catalyst for the Bucks earning the blowout victory over the Hawks. Giannis spoke on his mindset and his team’s mindset as they look to make it to the NBA Finals.
“We know what we’ve got to do,” Antetokounmpo said. “Everybody knew we had to come in here and get this game. That’s what we did from the first possession of the game.”
Other Bucks players stepped up big to help the Bucks earn the game 2 victory.
- Jrue Holiday scored 22 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out 7 assists.
- Brook Lopez scored 16 points.
- Khris Middleton scored 15 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists.
Game 3 is Sunday, 6/27 in Atlanta at State Farm Arena. Tip-off is at 8:30 pm Eastern and the game will air on TNT.
