The Atlanta Hawks put on an absolute show against the Miami Heat last night, defeating the Heat 127-92 behind a strong, balanced effort from their entire team.
The Heat were short-handed, playing mostly their bench and some of their G-League players. Despite that fact, the Hawks looked great on the floor. They have had some injury concerns heading into the start of the regular season. With everyone on the Hawks mostly healthy, however, Atlanta finished the preseason strong and looks to head into the regular season on a tear.
Trae Young led the way for the Hawks, scoring 27 points, while adding three rebounds and dishing out 15 assists. He shot 10-of-22 from the field. Young also shot 5-of-12 from behind the three-point stripe.
