The Phoenix Suns have officially acquired guard/forward Torrey Craig from the Milwaukee Bucks, both teams announced. In return, the Bucks will receive cash considerations.
Craig, 30, spent his first three NBA seasons with the Denver Nuggets, before signing a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal with the Bucks during the offseason.
He was dealt to help make room for forward P.J. Tucker, acquired by the Bucks in a deal with the Houston Rockets (for guard D.J. Augustin and power forward D.J. Wilson). The Bucks also received forward Rodions Kurucs as part of that trade.
Craig is 6-foot-7 and has also spent time playing in Australia and the G League. He averaged 5.4 points and 3.3 rebounds last season with the Nuggets, but appeared in just 18 games this season with the Bucks.
