The Phoenix Suns are rolling. The Suns blew out the Denver Nuggets 123-98 to earn the win and a 2 games to 0 series lead. NBA veteran Chris Paul is starting to hit his stride after suffering a shoulder injury in the first round against the Lakers. CP3 scored 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting from the field. He also pulled down 5 rebounds and dished out a game-high 15 assists. He also played 31 minutes. Paul spoke on his overall state of being to the media.
“I feel good,” Paul said. “I feel really good.”
Paul acknowledged the Suns’ crowd and their importance to the team’s success. Home court advantage is real. You can see that now because these arenas are now filled to capacity again for the first time since the Covid-19 Pandemic began. Paul and the rest of the Suns play drove the crowd to pandemonium. Paul spoke on that as well.
“It got a little loud, then it got really loud, then it got crazy,” Paul said.
Other Suns players contributed to the win with a balanced offensive attack.
