As the Philadelphia 76ers look to match the offensive firepower of the Brooklyn Nets to come out of the Eastern Conference, Will Barton is among several players the Sixers recently inquired about, sources told Jason Dumas of Bleacher Report.
Barton is currently averaging 11.6 points on 44.2 percent shooting and 3.1 assists per game, showing his versatility on the offensive side of the ball.
Philadelphia is currently ranked 16th in 3-point percentage in the league while averaging the third-fewest attempts per game in the league.
Barton can bring his nearly 39 percent shooting from three to the table and help open things up for the Sixers offense with his ability to shoot the ball and find his teammates for open looks.
If you want to beat the Nets in the playoffs, you’re going to need to get more offense from behind the arc. It’s as simple as that.
