The Bulls haven’t yet decided whether they will be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline but the team’s management will have a meeting to make a determination soon, Joe Cowley of The Chicago Sun-Times relays.
“Just based on my conversations with Arturas and Marc, we’re a little bit a ways away from the trade deadline, but there is going to be a time period where I think we’re all going to sit down and talk,’’ Billy Donovan said.
Whether or not to continue to build around Zach LaVine is among the major decisions that the franchise has to make.

- The Lakers are interested in P.J. Tucker and Adrian Wojnarowski recently said on ESPN that there should be a “seller’s market” for the veteran. In addition to the Lakers, the Bucks and Nets were mentioned as possible suitors. Houston is looking for a player who can see minutes for the club rather than picks for Tucker, per Woj (h/t Ben DuBose of USA Today’s Rockets Wire).
- The Knicks are monitoring C.J. McCollum as they search the trade market for stars, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports. There has been no indication that the Blazers are even entertaining any sort of trade for McCollum, who remains out.
- ICYMI: Per reports, the Knicks are basically tampering in their attempts to get Bradley Beal to demand a trade to New York.
